417 bottles of smuggled alcohol seized

(Baonghean.vn)-On the way from Nghe An to Hai Phong for sale, a vehicle carrying more than 400 bottles of wine of unknown origin was arrested by the Vinh City Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team.

At 12 noon on January 5, based on a tip-off from the people, on Mai Hac De Street (Vinh City), the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police inspected a car with license plate 37H-8192. The authorities discovered that the car was carrying 417 bottles of various types of alcohol, including 18 bottles of ChivVas, 255 bottles of Balbatime, and 72 bottles of Martell. All of the alcohol was of unknown origin. The driver admitted to transporting the alcohol to Hai Phong for sale. Currently, all of the alcohol has been sealed. The Vinh City Police are continuing to investigate the case.
