That is Tran Van Hieu (32 years old), residing in Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. Because he thought that the telecommunication stations built near his house would affect his family's health, Hieu set fire to 2 telecommunication stations in Dien Ngoc commune.

Of which, 1 mobile telecommunications station was burned down, causing damage of 350 million VND; while Viettel's mobile telecommunications station was caught red-handed when it was set on fire, so it did not cause any major consequences.

At the police station, Hieu admitted to his act of property destruction. The police confiscated 1 pair of scissors, 1 electric pen, 3 electric pliers and some other evidence.
