Nearly 1 ton of foul-smelling animal organs seized

At noon on December 21, nearly 1 ton of decomposing, foul-smelling animal organs were seized by Hanoi authorities in the Doc Van area (Mai Lam commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi).

The goods were packed in 20 foam boxes and transported on car 30M-0894 driven by Hoang Van Tho, 26 years old, residing in Xuan Truong, Nam Dinh province. According to the driver's statement, he was hired by the car owner, Nguyen Manh Hung, residing in Mai Dong, Hoang Mai district, Hanoi, to transport the goods from Noi Bai area (Soc Son district, Hanoi) to Hai Phong. All of these goods were handed over to the Hoan Kiem District Veterinary Station for destruction according to regulations.
