Over 500 packs of foreign-made cigarettes seized

(Baonghean) -At 2:45 p.m. on September 8, the Mobile Market Management Team (Nghe An Market Management Department) coordinated with Nghi Loc District Police to arrest a case of transporting over 500 packs of foreign-made cigarettes.

Upon checking the car with license plate 75L-8409, rear license plate 51R-01082, driven by Duong Chu Van, residing in Xuan Tam hamlet, Xuan Loc, Dong Nai, heading South-North on National Highway 1A, the authorities discovered 500 packs of ESSE branded cigarettes, manufactured abroad, but without invoices or documents.

The mobile market management team is temporarily holding the above cigarettes and imposing a fine of 15 million VND for the act of transporting smuggled goods. The case is being handled by the Nghe An Market Management Department according to its authority.
