Passenger bus carrying 350 kg of floss of unknown origin detained

(Baonghean.vn) - According to information from the people, at 11:50 p.m. on September 4, Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with Quynh Luu District Traffic Police Team to inspect and arrest a passenger bus carrying 350 kg of floss of unknown origin.

Evidence seized at the scene

Upon checking the sleeper bus with license plate 51B-13907 driven by driver Tran Trung Dung (from Hung Vuong, Thoi Binh, Can Tho city) traveling from Hanoi to Can Tho city, the authorities discovered 7 sacks of cotton floss under the vehicle with a total weight of 350 kg. All of the above goods had no quarantine certificate, no export documents, and unknown origin. According to the driver's initial statement, the goods were hired by a shop owner in Hanoi to be transported to Can Tho city and someone would come to receive them.

At 3:00 p.m. on September 5, 2014, after completing legal procedures, Market Management Team No. 4 of Nghe An transferred the seized goods to the Quynh Luu District Veterinary Station for handling according to the provisions of law.
