During a joint patrol in Chi Khe commune, Con Cuong district, at around 3:00 p.m. on December 16, 2013, the authorities discovered a truck with license plate 37C. 05144 driven by Nguyen Cong Dung (born in 1990), residing in hamlet 9, Thai Son commune, Do Luong, transporting 10 buffaloes and cows from Tuong Duong to Anh Son. The owner of the goods was Nguyen Van Thanh (born in 1991) in hamlet 6, Dai Son commune, Do Luong. According to the driver and the owner, these cattle were purchased from villages in Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong and transported to Do Luong for consumption. Currently, the authorities have drawn up administrative fines, temporarily detained the cattle, and organized spraying of disinfectants and quarantine before handing them over to local authorities for management according to the law.

Therefore, the authorities in Nghe An are focusing on preventing and fighting the epidemic while strengthening control and handling violations of the trading and transportation of livestock and livestock products according to the provisions of law.
