Arrested drug trafficker with firearm

(Baonghean.vn) -On November 14, Nghia Dan district police said that the unit's economic and drug police team had just captured Le Van Chuong (born 1967, residing in Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong) while transporting drugs with a gun.

At about 22:30 on November 10, at km 39 (Nghia Lien commune, Nghia Dan), a 7-seat car with license plate number 30K-7881 was going in the direction of Quy Hop - Yen Ly at high speed. The police suspected and chased after him. When he caught up and signaled to stop for inspection, he suddenly accelerated and jumped into the police car in an attempt to escape. After running about 200 meters, he suddenly turned around but was controlled by the police car. The subject, holding a handbag, jumped out the car door and ran away, holding a loaded revolver in his hand, but was knocked down on the road and captured by the police.
