Emergency arrest of murderer at wedding

(Baonghean.vn) - While eating at a wedding, Manh heard that his younger brother was surrounded by a group of village boys outside, so he grabbed a knife and ran out to stab a young man to death.

On the afternoon of July 26, people in the new hamlet, Nghi Thiet commune, Nghi Loc district, shouted and went out to the street to coordinate with the commune police force to urgently arrest Nguyen Tien Manh (born 1982), temporarily residing in Quan Hanh town, the perpetrator of the murder that occurred in this locality.

According to the investigation results, at noon of the same day, at Mr. Huy's house in the New Hamlet, a wedding was held. Nguyen Tien Manh came from Quan Hanh town to attend. While sitting at the feast in the house, Manh received information that his younger brother, Nguyen Tien Cuong, was driving a red car to the wedding when some village boys stopped him, causing the car to lightly hit the wall.

Although he did not understand what was going on, Manh immediately put down his chopsticks, went inside the house to get a knife and ran out. When he saw some young men standing around the red car, Nguyen Tien Manh immediately rushed over and stabbed Nguyen Hoang Thong (born in 1983), who lives in Xom Moi, Nghi Thiet commune.

The sudden stabbing caused Mr. Thong to collapse in a pool of blood. Although he was taken to the hospital by local people, he later died. After committing the murder, Manh fled but could not escape.

Nghi Loc District Police said they had detained Nguyen Tien Manh and summoned Nguyen Tien Cuong and several related subjects to clarify the incident.
