Emergency arrest of wife who killed husband

(Baonghean.vn)- At midnight, during a fight with her husband, Ms. Lien used a hoe to hit her head hard and then went to sleep. The next morning, seeing that her husband was dead, she pretended to cry and lament.

Nam Dan District Police are temporarily detaining Nguyen Thi Lien (born 1950), residing in Nam Hung Commune, to clarify the murder. Ms. Lien's victim was Mr. Bui Van Chua, her husband.

The investigation agency clarified that Mr. Vaa and Mrs. Lien lived alone, their eldest daughter worked far away. At around 3 a.m. on April 9, the couple had a conflict. In the dark, the two argued with each other. Mr. Vaa ran out of the house, took an iron pipe and hit his wife, but Mrs. Lien used a hoe to block the attack and hit him in the head. Seeing her husband collapse, the woman went back into the house to sleep.

The next morning, when she woke up, she saw her husband lying on the floor. After checking, she found that he was dead, so Mrs. Lien called everyone to come and help. On one hand, she cried and lamented, on the other hand, she and everyone else prepared to hold a ceremony to collect her husband.

While collecting the body, some people discovered that the victim had many bruises. Suspecting a murder, they reported it to the police.

When the Nam Dan district police team arrived, Ms. Lien's expression changed and she appeared worried. Using professional measures, the team forced Ms. Lien to admit that she had murdered her husband.
