Emergency arrest of teacher who sexually abused students

On April 16, teacher L was urgently arrested by Hoai Duc District Police to investigate and clarify the act of indecent assault.

It is known that teacher L has been accused by many parents of third grade students at An Thuong A Primary School of sexually abusing their children. A parent of a third grade student said that their child told them that one day when they went to teacher L's house for extra classes, the teacher called the student to the third floor, closed the door, hugged and touched her private parts.

On the afternoon of April 13, Hoai Duc District Police worked with the parents and students involved, and summoned teacher N.D.L to take his statement. According to initial information, this person confessed to his actions.

On the morning of April 17, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training's working group will work with An Thuong A Primary School regarding the misconduct of teacher L.

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Pham Xuan Tien said: Immediately after receiving this information, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training established a working group to coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve the matter.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Hoai Duc district have directed the district's Department of Education and Training and An Thuong A Primary School to urgently grasp information about the incident; coordinate with relevant agencies to provide accurate information to serve the investigation.

Immediately after the incident was discovered and reported, many parents expressed concern and confusion when respected teachers had such sick behavior with their students.

Therefore, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has requested the Department of Education and Training of Hoai Duc district to direct An Thuong A Primary School to take measures to stabilize the ideology and psychology of students and parents; and ensure that the school's teaching and learning activities take place normally.

It is known that on the morning of April 17, the working group of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will directly work with the People's Committee of Hoai Duc district, the district's Department of Education and Training and An Thuong A Primary School to have a way to handle this incident in accordance with the responsibilities of the industry.
