Arrest of suspect stealing 100 taels of gold in Binh Dinh

On April 29, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police announced that the functional forces of this province's police and Binh Dinh Provincial Police arrested Nguyen Trong Hoa (44 years old, residing in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
Hoa is the suspected mastermind in the robbery of Kim Khanh gold shop, Hoai Huong commune, Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh on March 10.
According to the initial statement of the subject, on March 10, Hoa and the subjects Nguyen Tien Thien (27 years old, residing in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai), Phan Phi De (24 years old, residing in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) rented a car with many unlocking tools to Binh Dinh province to steal property.
When they arrived at Hoai Huong commune, Hoai Nhon district, the group broke into Kim Khanh gold shop and stole 22 bags of gold, with more than 100 taels of 18K gold. On the way back to Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the group sold some of the gold for 192 million VND, and divided it among themselves to spend.
In addition to this theft, in January 2017, Hoa and his accomplices also broke the roof of a mobile phone store in Hoai Nhon district and stole more than 100 phones and phone cards, with a total value of about 350 million VND.
After committing the gold shop robbery, Thien and De were arrested by the police, while Hoa escaped and was wanted. During his time on the run, Hoa stayed in places such as Long An, Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Phuoc.
