He believes that with only 2 USD/day (about 45,000 VND), he can still survive. Even if he has to face extreme poverty, economic difficulties, corruption... he will raise chickens.

This billionaire asserts that raising chickens is the best investment for the poorest people in the world. In Africa, each chicken costs $5 (about more than 110,000 VND). However, within a few months, a hen can lay more than 40 chicks. And eggs are a source of protein and nutrients to help families escape hunger.

According to the billionaire's calculations, if there is a flock of 250 chickens, the breeder can earn 1,250 USD/year.

Billionaire Bill Gates analyzed that breeding chickens are cheap, easy to care for, vaccination costs only about 20 cents but can be sold for $5/chicken. On the other hand, farmers can breed chickens continuously under suitable conditions. Income from selling chickens can be up to $700 - $1000/year (about more than 15.4 million to 22 million VND/year).

According to this billionaire's calculations, if there is a flock of 250 chickens, the breeder can earn 1,250 USD/year, while the African poverty line is an income of less than 700 USD/year. This is considered an effective way to escape poverty. He also expressed his hope that the number of chicken breeders in the West African region will increase from the current 5% to 30% in the near future.

Currently, the Gates Foundation of billionaire Bill Gates and his wife also provides vaccines for chickens, hens and roosters for 30% of Africans living in the Sub-Saharan region.
