Unexpected bomb explosion in Crimea kills 10 people, injures 50
An explosion caused by an unidentified device occurred at a college in Kerch, - as reported by the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
There were 10 dead, about 50 injured. Twenty people were taken to City Hospital No. 1 with moderate injuries. Previously, there was a hypothesis that this was a gas tank explosion.
According to the statement of Mr. Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the head of Russia, the hypothesis of a terrorist attack in Kerch College cannot be ruled out.
To the journalists' question - should this be considered a terrorist attack in Kerch? - Mr. Peskov replied: "We are considering such a hypothesis."
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed in the Kerch explosion.
