Foreigner arrested for stealing ATM data
The Investigation Police Agency - Hanoi Police has just prosecuted and temporarily detained Wu Wen Tsung (commonly known as Tong) for collecting state secrets.

Previously - at the end of August, the security system monitoring ATM operations of Dong A Bank recorded that an ATM in Hanoi swallowed 2 fake cards. Upon checking, the bank discovered that the ATM on Truong Chinh Street (Hanoi) had cameras and information-reading devices installed, so it reported to the police.
Secretly monitoring, on the morning of August 29, detectives from the Financial, Monetary and Investment Security Protection Department (Hanoi Police) discovered and then arrested a young man who came to remove the devices that had been attached there. This person said his name was Wu Wen Tsung. He had on him at the time 9 credit cards from several banks, including cards from foreign banks...
Searching Tong's residence (a hotel on Nguyen Thi Dinh Street), the police seized a card printer; many bank logo decals; a drill; spray paint boxes, armor, and ATM card blanks.
Tong confessed that one day before being arrested, he and his accomplices (who were on the run) entered Vietnam.
After getting the data, they will make fake cards. 2 out of 5 fake cards were swallowed when inserted to withdraw money.
