After directing the professional teams to focus on grasping the situation, sending many experienced scouts directly to areas where property theft is likely to occur such as crowded markets, intersections, etc.; at the same time sending many scouts as "bait", especially using female scouts in expensive cars to lure them, Project coded 713T was established.

During the investigation, there was enough basis to solve the case. At 10:00 a.m. on July 18, 2013, the detectives of the Criminal Investigation Team on Social Order, Do Luong Police decided to solve the case. When the two subjects Nguyen Thi Thanh (born in 1973) and Ngo Thi Trang (born in 1995), both residing in Hamlet 4, Dien Ky (Dien Chau), were stealing the trunk of a motorbike parked at Minh Son market of Nguyen Van Tam (born in 1970), residing in Hamlet Van Minh, Minh Son Commune, Do Luong District, they were suddenly caught red-handed by the criminal detectives. The evidence seized at the scene included 34,403,000 VND. During the search and confiscation of the two subjects, they also confiscated 2 mobile phones, 1 wave alpha motorbike, 1 driving license, 2 motorbike registration papers and 2,900 USD, 850,000 VND.

Through the struggle, the subject also confessed that in addition to the above two subjects, there were also two other subjects participating in the theft: Tran Van Bao (born in 1985), residing in hamlet 10, Xuan Thanh and Pham Thi Huyen (born in 1991), residing in Phu Thanh commune, Yen Thanh.

Continuing to expand the investigation, the subject confessed that at around 9:15 a.m. on April 18, all four subjects, Thanh, Trang, Huyen and Bao, had carried out the act of pickpocketing a man's car in Bai Son commune. After the theft, Huyen and Bao fled the area.

Then, through reconnaissance work as well as information provided by the people, Do Luong Police urgently arrested Nguyen Trong Phuong (born 1991), residing in Dong Van commune, Tan Ky and Ho Vinh Phap (born 1994) residing in Luu Son commune (Do Luong) for theft of property. The seized evidence included a Wave Alpha motorbike.

At the police station, Phuong and Phap also confessed that the day before (July 17), they, along with Ho Sy Cuong (born 1996), residing in Bao Thanh commune, had stolen a motorbike from Nguyen Thua Han (51 years old), residing in Thai Son commune, to take money for spending. On July 22, the district police persuaded Cuong to surrender.

Currently, Do Luong Police are investigating and completing the case file to prosecute the case and prosecute the defendants for investigation and handling.
