Arrested a group of young men carrying weapons and brazenly robbing on the street

A group of people carrying knives to harass and rob people on the street were arrested.

The Criminal Police Department (PC45) of Hai Phong City Police said that the unit has just arrested a group of people using motorbikes and carrying weapons to commit a series of robberies in the city.

According to the investigation records, at about 1:50 p.m. on October 25, Ms. NTH (born in 1976, in village 4, Hoa Binh commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong) was riding a motorbike on Lac Long bridge towards the city center when two people on another motorbike approached and snatched the handbag on her chest, causing Ms. H. to fall onto the street.

The sharp knife and the property the group robbed were confiscated by the police.

Hearing Ms. H's shout, the two subjects accelerated and drove onto Nguyen Tri Phuong and Hoang Dieu streets, then turned onto Le Dai Hanh street.

The two subjects ran to 10 Le Dai Hanh and were chased and arrested by the working group of PC45 in conjunction with the Environmental Police Department, Hai Phong Police and Minh Khai Ward Police.

During the search, the police seized 1 bayonet, 1 motorbike used as the crime vehicle, and 1 handbag containing 1 OPPO phone, 53,000 VND, and some documents of Ms. H.

The two arrested subjects are Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 1992, residing in Bo De hamlet, Ben Binh, Tan Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district) and Dinh Quang Hai (born in 1988, residing at 3/13/40 Lach Tray, Ngo Quyen, currently living at 78 Trang Quan, An Dong, An Duong).

Both suspects have criminal records. At the investigation agency, these two suspects confessed to having committed a series of robberies in Hai Phong City in the past. They mainly suppressed and robbed the property of people riding motorbikes and carrying handbags.
