Arrested female director of fake fertilizer production
On November 21, Dak Nong police decided to prosecute and temporarily detain Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc Bich (45 years old), director of Viet Nhat Production, Trade and Service Company, headquartered in Ea T'Ling town, Cu Jut district, for producing and trading counterfeit goods.
According to the investigation results, Viet Nhat Company, which Ms. Bich directly manages and operates, has committed violations in implementing regulations and processes for fertilizer production, not using machinery and production lines, not building laboratories, contracting with competent units to conduct quality inspections of input materials and product quality but still selling them on the market, authorizing people without the required professional qualifications to directly manage fertilizer production...
With that trick, from March to August 2013, Viet Nhat Company produced and sold 118.8 tons of poor quality fertilizer to the market, of which 31 tons of fertilizer sold to people were determined by the investigation agency to be completely fake fertilizer.
After people bought and used all of this fertilizer for a short time, they saw the plants turn yellow and die.
To deceive the authorities, Viet Nhat Company colluded with Viet Nhat Dak Lak Company, whose director is Ms. Le Thi Thuy, to falsely declare value-added invoices showing the purchase of input materials for production in order to conceal the production of poor-quality fertilizers by Viet Nhat Company.
