Caught red-handed carrying oil mixed with shrimp paste to collect debt
Yen Hoa Ward Police (Cau Giay, Hanoi) just caught two people using cooking oil mixed with shrimp paste to enter a house to collect debt.
On the night of May 4, a police task force from Yen Hoa ward was patrolling Hoa Bang street (Yen Hoa ward) when they discovered two suspicious subjects driving a motorbike and proceeded to follow them.

During the surveillance process, the task force discovered two subjects driving a motorbike into a small alley in Hoa Bang street and throwing dirty substances into a resident's house.
Immediately, the task force moved in to control and take the subject sitting in the back of the car to the police station.Seeing his accomplice being controlled, the remaining subject escaped on his motorbike but was arrested by the task force not long after.
Through the investigation, the suspect was identified as Vu Van Tien (born in 1988, residing on Hoa Bang Street, registered in Nghia Hung District, Nam Dinh). Tien has 2 previous convictions for theft.The accomplice is Nguyen Trong Nghia (born 1993, in Lao Cai city), who lives with Tien.
Initially, the subjects confessed that due to a conflict in lending money, they could not collect 6 million VND from a family in Hoa Bang street, so they used dirty substances to threaten them by throwing them into the house.
