On the morning of June 16, in the waters of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, the Coast Guard caught a ship that had just arrived from abroad illegally transferring liquid (suspected to be FO oil) and steel to 5 other domestic ships.
Coast Guard ship 4032 participated in capturing the violating ship.
The ship is named VSG GLORY, Panamanian nationality, captained by Pham Duc Son, born in 1977, residing in Dong Khe, Hai Phong city.
According to the statement, the amount of goods illegally transported was about 10 m3 of liquid and about 20 tons of iron and steel.
Currently, Coast Guard Region 2 and Reconnaissance Group No. 2, Coast Guard Department are continuing to coordinate to investigate, clarify and handle the smuggling case according to the law./.
