Caught red-handed transporting smuggled goods by passenger bus

At 4:30 a.m. on December 5, Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4 in Quynh Luu area coordinated with Quynh Luu District Police to discover and seize a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol of unknown origin on a passenger bus with license plate 15B-01083.

According to Market Management Team No. 4 of Nghe An, after receiving a report from the public, they discovered a sleeper bus with license plate 15B-01083 carrying a shipment of cigarettes and alcohol of unknown origin, which was being circulated to the North for consumption. When the car reached Cau Giat Town, the authorities asked the driver to stop for inspection.

Quantity of smuggled goods of unknown origin

Through checking the inside of the car, Market Management Team No. 4 and Quynh Luu District Police discovered that the car was carrying 100 cartons of cigarettes and 140 bottles of alcohol, all with foreign labels but without clear documents of origin. The above passenger car and the evidence were brought to the headquarters of Market Management Team No. 4 to make a record. Here, the driver declared his name as Le Quang Vinh - residing in Le Chan District - Hai Phong City, and was hired to transport the goods to Hai Phong City without knowing who the owner of the goods was.

Currently, Market Management Team No. 4 has drawn up a record and seized the above quantity of goods.
