Arrested driver who caused fatal accident and then fled

(Baonghean.vn) -After 3 days of investigation into the traffic accident at 4:50 p.m. on April 6 between truck with license plate: 37C-021.26With motorbike license plate number 37P3-2497, on April 9, Quynh Luu District Police (Nghe An) arrested the truck driver who caused an accident and then fled.

Previously, at 4:50 p.m. on April 6, at km 386+150 of National Highway 1A (through Hoang Mai town), an accident occurred between a car with license plate number 37C-021.26 driven by Vo Viet Dung and a motorbike with license plate number 37P3-2497 driven by Mai Van Hoai (born in 1997) carrying Nguyen Ba Vang (born in 1945, both residing in block 3, Hoang Mai town) going in the opposite direction. The accident left Nguyen Ba Vang seriously injured, leading to his death on the way to the emergency room, while Mai Van Hoai was injured and was taken to the emergency room by his family shortly thereafter.

After causing the accident, driver Vo Viet Dung drove the car away. On April 9, Quynh Luu district police prosecuted and temporarily detained Vo Viet Dung for violating regulations on driving road vehicles.
