Detain Deputy Head of Criminal Police Department
The Ministry of Public Security has just announced the Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue an order to temporarily detain Lieutenant Colonel Vu Tien Son, Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police, for the crime of "Organizing people to flee abroad".

On the evening of December 6, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Duy Dien, Chief of Office, Spokesperson of Hai Phong City Police, said: The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has worked with Hai Phong City Police on the announcement of the Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and order the temporary detention of Lieutenant Colonel Vu Tien Son (born November 4, 1966), Deputy Head of the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes (PC45) for the crime of "Organizing people to flee abroad", violating Article 275 of the Penal Code of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Mr. Vu Tien Son, a former soldier of Team H88 - Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police, participated in a number of famous cases in the "Hai Phong" such as: Cu Nen, Dung Ha... and was the terror of all kinds of criminals.
After a while, Mr. Son was transferred to Team 9 (Anti-Organized Crime Team) and held the position of Deputy Head of PC 45 about 2 years ago. Currently, Mr. Vu Tien Son's family is residing at 4/120 Ngo Gia Tu, Hai An District, Hai Phong City.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security and Hai Phong City Police are continuing to investigate the case.
Previously, the Investigation Police Department of Hai Phong City Police temporarily detained Vu Van Sau - Chief of Police of An Tho Commune, An Lao District, for his involvement in the escape of Duong Chi Dung - former Director of the Maritime Administration.
Some sources said that former Lieutenant Colonel Vu Tien Son was highly appreciated by the leaders of Hai Phong City Police for his ability in solving special cases.
