(Baonghean.vn) - On June 10, the Department of Exploitation and Protection of Aquatic Resources of Nghe An province handed over the people and evidence on the NA 3596 TS ship to Lach Van Border Control Station, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) to handle the act of using electric shock to exploit aquatic resources in a destructive manner.

Dien Thanh Border Guard Station officers made a record of administrative violations against the owner of ship NA 3596 TS.

According to Dien Thanh Border Guard Station, at around 11 p.m. on June 9, a fisheries inspection vessel of the Nghe An Province Sub-Department of Exploitation and Protection of Aquatic Resources, while on duty in the waters of Quynh Luu, discovered and arrested fishing vessel NA 3596 TS owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Bay, born in 1980, residing in Son Hai hamlet, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district, which was using electric shock to exploit aquatic products. On June 10, the Nghe An Province Sub-Department of Exploitation and Protection of Aquatic Resources handed over the violators, the vessel and the means of transport to Lach Van Border Control Station, Dien Thanh Border Guard Station for handling in accordance with Decree 103/2013/ND-CP dated September 12, 2013 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations in fisheries activities.
