The seized evidence included dozens of high school diplomas, bachelor's degrees, transcripts, real estate certificates, motorbike driving licenses and many other types of personal documents, along with many machines.

Vinh City Police said the arrest took place at 2:00 p.m. on May 22, with the participation of the General Investigation Team and the Administrative Management Team of Vinh City Police.
According to the investigation agency, earlier on the morning of May 22, during an administrative inspection at a pawn shop in Vinh City, the police discovered two fake motorcycle licenses. From this clue, the police identified the place where the forgeries were made.

An emergency search warrant was executed for the house of Tran Anh Tai (born in 1979) and his wife Nguyen Thi Hai Anh (born in 1982), residing at No. 18, Alley 2, Bach Lieu Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City. At Tai's house, the evidence seized by the authorities included dozens of high school diplomas, bachelor's degrees, motorbike driving licenses, identity cards, land use right certificates, school records... and many other personal documents. When the authorities conducted a search and seizure of evidence at his home, Tran Anh Tai was not at home. The authorities are contacting Tai to request that he appear.
According to police records, Tran Anh Tai was imprisoned for two years for document forgery and had just completed his prison term and returned home nearly a year ago when he continued to commit crimes.
This afternoon, Vinh City Police are sealing all evidence to bring to police headquarters to serve the investigation.
