Caught transporting 2 tons of cowhide without valid documents

(Baonghean.vn) - At 7:30 p.m. on June 19, Dien Chau Traffic Police arrested a case of transporting cow skin and fat without valid documents.

While patrolling and controlling at km 446, National Highway 1A in Nghi Long commune, Nghi Loc district, the patrol team of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province) inspected a truck with license plate 37S.0537 driven by Vuong Van Cau, born in 1994, residing in Hong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, traveling in the direction of Vinh - Yen Thanh.

Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be carrying 2 tons of unprocessed cowhide and 100 kg of beef fat. All of the leather and fat did not have a quarantine certificate and gave off a foul odor. Driver Vuong Van Cau confessed that he was transporting the leather and beef fat for hire from Ha Tinh to Yen Thanh for sale.

Dien Chau Traffic Police Station handed over 2 tons of cowhide to Dien Chau Veterinary Station for handling according to the law.

Currently, all of the above cow skin and fat have been handed over to the Veterinary Department of Dien Chau district for handling according to the provisions of law.
