Caught transporting more than 1 ton of suckling pigs without valid documents

At the above time, while patrolling at km 418 of National Highway 1A, in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Public Security) discovered a passenger car with license plate 76B.00642, driven by driver Le Van Lieu, born in 1972, residing in Quang Ngai city, running from South to North with suspicious signs, so they signaled to stop the car for inspection.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying 19 foam boxes containing 1,100 kg of pre-processed suckling pigs without any documents proving their origin or quarantine certificates from the veterinary agency. According to the driver's initial declaration, the above suckling pigs were hired by a cargo owner in Quang Ngai to be transported to Thanh Hoa for consumption.

The number of processed suckling pigs without valid documents was seized.

The Dien Chau Traffic Police Patrol Team has drawn up a record to seize all the piglets and handed them over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for handling according to the law./.
