Arrested for transporting explosives

After many days of monitoring, at 6:15 a.m. on May 23, 2011, on Road 537B in Quynh Minh Commune (Quynh Luu District, Nghe An), the patrol team of Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station - Nghe An Border Guard discovered and arrested Ho Duc Phuong (born in 1968, residing in Hamlet 7, Quynh Xuan Commune, Quynh Luu, Nghe An) who was transporting explosives and detonators for sale.

The seized evidence included 30 explosives, 70 detonators, a motorbike with license plate 36K-22059 and some other documents. According to Phuong's statement, Phuong bought the explosives and detonators from an unknown person in Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province at a cheap price. On the way to sell them for profit, he was arrested by the border guards.

Currently, the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station has completed the documents on the evidence and the subject and handed them over to the authorities for handling according to the law.
