Catching a car carrying twice the number of passengers allowed

(Baonghean.vn) - In the early morning of June 1, the Captain of Traffic Inspection Team No. 1 of Nghe An Department of Transport said that he had arrested a passenger bus carrying too many people on board while passing through Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city.

According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Hau - Captain of Traffic Inspection Team No. 1 of Nghe An Department of Transport, at 5:37 a.m., through the hotline number of Nghe An Department of Transport, he received a notification from a passenger about the passenger bus with license plate 37B-009.93 of Thinh Minh bus company running on the Yen Thanh - Vinh City route, cramming about 60 passengers on a 30-seat bus.

The bus driver signed a ticket for carrying more passengers than allowed.

Immediately after receiving the report, Nghe An Department of Transport directed traffic police to intercept and check the vehicle.

At 5:40 a.m., at Km 456 QL1A in Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city, the traffic inspection team inspected passenger bus 37B-009.93. During the inspection, the inspection team discovered that there were 60 people on board, while according to the inspection certificate, this bus was only allowed to carry a maximum of 32 people.

Driver and car owner Pham Van Thinh (born in 1981, residing in Tay Thanh commune, Yen Thanh, Nghe An) also admitted his violation.

After forcing this vehicle to transfer the load and arrange vehicles for passengers to continue their journey, the Traffic Police force drew up a record to handle the administrative violation of carrying 60/32 passengers in excess of the prescribed number, and temporarily detained some related documents to serve the handling work.
