Car caught carrying large quantity of household electrical appliances of unknown origin

At 1:30 p.m. on February 5, at Km 19 of National Highway 7B in Nam Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, the traffic police patrol team of this district discovered a truck with license plate 37C - 140.14 with many suspicious signs, so they signaled to stop the vehicle for an administrative check.

Upon inspection, the working group discovered that the vehicle was carrying a shipment of household electrical goods including: 130 worship lamps of various types, 170 rechargeable LED lamps, 250 decorative LED lamps, 1,000m of LED wire, 300 LED lamp control sockets, 300 worship bulbs, 50 1.2m neon bulbs and a number of other household electrical goods.

At the scene, driver Nguyen Duc Can, residing in hamlet 17, Dien Hoang commune, Dien Chau district, could not present documents on the origin of the goods.

After conducting the inventory, the Traffic Police Team of Yen Thanh District Police handed over the above goods to the authorities to continue clarifying the matter./.
