Bus carrying illegal rosewood caught

(Baonghean.vn)- On January 8, Dien Chau district police temporarily detained a passenger bus carrying a large amount of illegal timber without a clear origin.

Previously, on the evening of January 7, while patrolling and controlling traffic, the traffic police inspected a passenger bus running through Dien Chau district.

Upon inspection, a large quantity of illegal timber suspected to be rosewood was discovered, consisting of 80 pieces, each measuring 1.2-1.5 meters long. The wood was of unknown origin and had no invoices or documents.

The case is under further investigation.
