Ukraine Election: Comedian Zelensky Widens Gap With President Poroshenko
Experts from the Kiev International Institute of Sociology conducted a survey and found out who the Ukrainian people would support in the second round of the presidential election.
"Of those who are ready to vote and decide on their choice, 72.2% will vote for Vladimir Zelensky; 25.4% for President Petro Poroshenko; 2.4% choose to cancel their vote," - according to information on the Institute's website.
The study also found that 57.2% of Ukrainians believe that Mr. Zelensky will win the second round of elections. Only 14.1% of respondents believe that Mr. Poroshenko will win. The remaining 28.7% did not specify or refused to answer the question.

The poll was conducted from April 9 to April 14 in all regions of Ukraine, except the Donbass territory, which is not controlled by Kiev. A total of 2,004 people aged 18 and over took part in the survey. The statistical error does not exceed 3.3%.
Last week, the “Rating” group published its survey results - according to forecasts, Mr. Zelensky won 61% of the vote in the second round, and Mr. Poroshenko - 24%.
The second round of presidential elections in Ukraine will be held on April 21.
