Bau Duc and teacher Giom received special awards

Bau Duc and coach Giom along with the Vietnam U19 team received special rewards for their tireless efforts over the past time.

After the final match of the U19 Southeast Asia tournament on the evening of September 13, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc, Chairman of HAGL Group, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Football Federation and Head Coach of Vietnam U19 Team Graechen Guillaume were awarded the "For the Young Generation" medal by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the most noble award of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, according to Decision No. 464-QDKT/TWĐTN-VP of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

These are recognitions for the dedication and efforts to develop youth football in general and Vietnamese football in particular of the Mountain City boss and the French coach.

In addition, the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also decided to award a certificate of merit to the Vietnam National U19 Football Team for their excellent performance at the 2014 Southeast Asian U19 Tournament, according to Decision No. 463-QDKT/TWĐTN-VP of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Over the past year, U19 Vietnam has participated in 3 important regional tournaments. Although they have not been crowned champions, U19 Vietnam has left behind beautiful images and especially the spirit of fighting with all their might for the country's flag. What has been achieved will be the foundation for U19 Vietnam players to reach further goals in the future.
