On the coastal area, the border guards coordinated to contact, guide and call all vessels operating at sea to safe shelters, of which 3,799 vessels/17,432 workers came ashore to take shelter from the storm at fishing ports and estuaries in the province, the rest took shelter at other local fishing ports and estuaries. The command also directed the units to ensure the number of personnel on duty ready to respond when situations arise.
In addition, the forces urgently reinforced houses and warehouses, coordinated with local authorities to review key points at risk of landslides and flooding to proactively respond, evacuate people when necessary, and have plans to protect the property of people and units when natural disasters occur./.
