Nghe An Border Guard honored in the program "Glory of Vietnam" 2014
(Baonghean) -On the morning of May 23, in Hanoi, the 11th "Glory of Vietnam" program in 2014 was jointly organized by Lao Dong Newspaper and Vietnam Television under the direct direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Central Emulation and Reward Committee.
The 11th “Glory of Vietnam” program in 2014 with the theme “Breakthrough - Success” introduced 19 individuals and 11 groups with outstanding achievements, constantly striving to overcome difficulties in the past 2-3 years. Nghe An Border Guard is one of 11 groups honored in this program. In recent years, Nghe An Border Guard has united, made efforts, and strived to excellently fulfill the task of managing and protecting border security and sovereignty; preventing all kinds of crimes; consolidating the political system at the grassroots level; participating in helping people develop the economy, culture, society, and eliminate hunger and reduce poverty... In 2013, Nghe An Border Guard was honored to be awarded the title of Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State for the second time.
Being honored in the program "Glory of Vietnam" this time is not only an honor for Nghe An Border Guard but also a pride for the entire Border Guard force, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Nghe An province, a great motivation for Nghe An Border Guard force to continue to overcome difficulties, excellently completing the task of protecting national territorial sovereignty.
