Nghe An Border Guard trains on Law on handling administrative violations

(Baonghean.vn) -On August 1, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a training course on the Law on Handling Administrative Violations (XLVPHC) for 146 officers, including Station Chiefs, Squadron Chiefs, Deputy Station Chiefs, PCTPMT Team Leaders, border guard station scouts, and officers of departments, offices, and offices of the Provincial Border Guard Command.



Overview of the training class.

On June 20, 2012, the Law on Administrative Violations was passed and promulgated by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 3rd session, effective from July 1, 2013. The Law on Administrative Violations will replace the previous Ordinance on Administrative Violations. The Law consists of 6 Parts, 12 Chapters and 142 Articles, regulating administrative sanctions and administrative handling measures.

During the training, officers of the units were introduced to and mastered the contents of the 2012 Law on Administrative Violations and the guiding documents of the higher-level professional agencies and sectors on Administrative Violations. This included in-depth discussions on the provisions and regulations on forms, scope of authority, areas and procedures, and levels of sanctions under the functions and authority of the Border Guard force. In addition, officers participating in the training were also trained in contents related to crime and drug prevention.
