Nghe An Border Guard: Promoted ranks for 283 soldiers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 11, the Party Committee - Command of the Nghe An Border Guard held a ceremony to hand over the decision to increase salary, shift, promote military rank and change the regime from non-commissioned officer to professional soldier in the first phase of 2016 for 283 soldiers.

This time, Nghe An Border Guard has 280 professional soldiers from lieutenant to lieutenant colonel level who have been promoted and have their salaries increased by the Border Guard Command and General Staff. There are 3 non-commissioned officers and soldiers who have been transferred to professional soldiers by the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, emphasized: The promotion of military ranks, salary increase of professional soldiers and the change of regime from non-commissioned officers to professional soldiers in the first phase of 2016 is a milestone marking the maturity and recognition of the achievements, dedication and contributions of each soldier. At the same time, it shows the attention of the Party, State and Army for the professional soldiers of the Border Guard. He also hopes that each soldier must constantly study and practice political qualities, revolutionary ethics and working capacity, overcome difficulties and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
