Typically, 85 teams/1,020 households have been mobilized to participate in the self-management movement to protect border security and sovereignty with 218.5 km of border line/44 Vietnam - Laos border markers registered for self-management. At the same time, 189 teams/2,685 households participating in the self-management movement for security and order in hamlets and villages have been consolidated. Through this movement, the masses have discovered and promptly provided the Border Guard force with situations related to the two sides of the border, the border line, and markers to have timely handling measures in accordance with the border regulations between Vietnam and Laos.
