It's custard apple season, parents must be careful because of similar accidents. |
To save the baby in time, the doctors urgently took him to the operating room and performed an endoscopy to remove a custard apple seed from the baby's trachea.
Currently, the baby's health is stable and is being monitored by doctors and nurses of the Hospital's ENT department.
As a mountainous border province located in the northernmost part of the country, Ha Giang has 19 ethnic groups living together, of which ethnic minorities account for over 80%. Because the living conditions of the people are still very difficult, parents are busy working in the fields and often leave their children to play at home, so many children have choked on marbles, coins or leeches crawling into their noses, ears...
Through this case, Dr. Vu Hung Vuong also advised parents not to be subjective when discovering foreign objects entering the bodies of children. If not handled promptly, it can cause death or bad complications for the children's health later on./.
