Closing ceremony of training class for actors and musicians of Nghe Tinh folk opera

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of November 22, at the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage, the Department of Performing Arts in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An organized the closing ceremony of the training course for actors and musicians of Nghe Tinh Folk Drama.

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Pham Dinh Thang - Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts, Mr. Cao Dang Vinh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, along with officials, actors, musicians and lecturers of the Nghe An folk song troupe.

The class started on November 4th, and the instructors at the training class were stage theorists with deep knowledge of folk songs, distinguished artists, experienced actors and musicians. After 20 days of training, the actors were trained in acting skills, delving into methods of performing folk songs, methods of combining musical instruments in the orchestra and handling stage situations.

At the closing ceremony, the training process was summarized and evaluated. The training course contributed to promoting and preserving Vi and Giam folk songs; nurturing the talents of musicians and performing artists at art units, improving the technical quality of the art stage. The closing ceremony had many excerpts of plays, ensembles, folk songs... from the students participating in the course.
