Closing ceremony of IT class and summary of project activities in 2014

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 11, the Provincial Women's Union coordinated with the Korean University Association for Women (KAUW) to organize the "Closing Ceremony of IT Class A-B3 and summarize the project's activities in 2014.

The IT class is part of the 2014 operational plan of the ODA Project “Vocational Training for Women in Vinh City” funded by the International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and managed by the Korean University Association for Women (KAUW). The total cost of the project is 78,124 USD. The participants are women aged 20-30. The class is equipped with classrooms, computers, textbooks and lecturers.

Kauw representative presents gifts to students.

This is a practical program to help female workers grasp technology, improve their knowledge and find jobs easily. Thereby contributing to the national plan for equal participation of female workers in vocational training and employment. Through the above activities, it contributes to enhancing the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea.

Learning from the experience of classes A-B1 and A-B2, to avoid the situation where students do not fully participate in the classes and have to drop out in the middle, after receiving the registration documents, Kauw staff reviewed the student records to announce the enrollment. The center enrolled 22 students and organized the opening ceremony on October 9, 2014. After the learning process, 22/22 students were eligible to take the exam for the Tin B certificate, 100% of them had enough points.

On this occasion, Kauw representatives presented gifts to 7 students with good academic and training achievements. At the ceremony, to express their gratitude, students of class AB3 also presented small gifts to teachers and staff of KAUW.
