(Baonghean) -On the evening of December 23, at Vinh University, the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held the Closing Ceremony of the 12th "Vietnam - China Youth Friendship Meeting".
Attending the program, on the side of the Chinese Communist Youth Union, there were comrade Wan Xuejun, Deputy Head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth Union, 100 outstanding Chinese youths; on the side of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union, there was comrade Duong Van An, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union, representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth Union. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Fatherland Front, and more than 500 Nghe An youths.

Within the framework of the program “12th Vietnam-China Youth Friendship Meeting”, the Chinese youth delegation visited the provinces of Quang Ninh, Hanoi and the final destination was Nghe An. After meeting with the provincial leaders, the delegation visited the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, Uncle Ho’s mother; visited the Kim Lien relic site, visited Ho Chi Minh Square and Hoang Thi Loan Knitting Factory.
One day in Nghe An, the young people of the neighboring country had experiences about the love of the land and people here. Speaking at the closing ceremony, comrade Van Hoc Quan emphasized: “I have heard a lot about President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, and have read about it in books, newspapers, and magazines. But this is the first time I set foot on his homeland, I was truly moved. When the tour guide introduced the simple thatched roof, the wooden bed, the hammock... the objects associated with his childhood, I fully understood its value. I was especially impressed with the two words "Uncle Ho's hometown", so familiar and close. We felt very warm when receiving the respectful welcome of the leaders of Nghe An province, and the warmth and hospitality of the young people."
The program “The 12th Vietnam-China Youth Friendship Meeting” was a great success, contributing positively to the exchange, expanding understanding, strengthening trust between the young generations of the two countries, contributing to the overall success of the official visit to Vietnam by Comrade Xi Jinping, Member of the Politburo Standing Committee of China, Vice President of the People's Republic of China. At the same time, we believe that the youth of the two countries will be the messengers and bridges of the friendship between the two peoples that many generations of leaders of both sides have worked hard to cultivate.
