(Baonghean.vn) -After 3 days of organizing the congress, this afternoon, August 8, 2015, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 held the closing ceremony of the 10th Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

The Congress focused its intelligence, discussed frankly, self-criticized and criticized seriously, and contributed many important opinions to the draft documents of the 11th Central Executive Committee to be submitted to the 12th National Party Congress, the draft political report of the Central Military Commission to be submitted to the 10th National Party Congress of the Army, and the Political Report and Review Report of the 9th Military Region Party Committee to be submitted to the Congress.

The Party Executive Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2015-2020 term was introduced and received its tasks before the Congress.

In the 2015-2020 term, the Party Committee of Military Region 4 promoted democracy and intelligence, continued to innovate strongly and comprehensively, "Focusing on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promoting the combined strength, acting as the core in building the all-people national defense, building a strong armed force of the Military Region; closely coordinating with local Party committees and authorities to grasp the situation, successfully carry out military and defense tasks, contributing to building and firmly protecting the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam". In particular, focusing on leadership, direction and organization of implementation to create important breakthroughs in force organization, improving the quality of training, building discipline, training discipline; improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party committees.

Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Military Region; Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region presented flowers to former members of the Party Executive Committee of the Military Region for the 2010 - 2015 term.

The Congress elected the 10th Military Region Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 term, consisting of 19 comrades. In addition, the Military Region Party Committee Executive Committee had 6 comrades who were Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of 6 provinces appointed to participate according to the Party Charter; elected a delegation to attend the 10th Military Party Congress. The 10th Military Region Party Committee Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Military Region Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term. Lieutenant General Vo Van Viet, Political Commissar of the Military Region, was elected as Party Committee Secretary; Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Military Region, was elected Deputy Secretary.
