The tournament was organized by Yamaha Motor Vietnam in collaboration with Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper and 24h Sports Joint Stock Company. On this occasion, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund also awarded 40 scholarships to disabled students and students in difficult circumstances who have achieved high results in their studies.
Attending and awarding prizes to teams with excellent achievements and Vu A Dinh scholarships were Mr. Nguyen Trung Chau - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper, Deputy Organizing Committee of the National U13 School Football Festival; Luu Duc Thuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.

In the first final, the two teams Nghi Trung and Hung Dong contributed to an exciting and fierce match with beautiful moves that made many spectators admire and praise. As a result, although Nghi Trung took the lead in the first half, Hung Dong came back to score 2 goals to end with a score of 2-1. In the second final between Nghi Long and Phuc Tho, Nghi Long showed superiority in ball control time as well as effectiveness in attack and scored 2 goals after the first 25 minutes of play. In the second half, Phuc Tho, despite trying to rise up in the final minutes, only scored 1 goal and had to accept defeat with a score of 1-2. Thus, the two champions U13 Nghi Dong and U13 Nghi Trung will be the representatives of Nghe An to participate in the Final Round taking place in early June to find the only ticket to compete in Japan.

On this occasion, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, established by the Central Secretariat of the Youth Union on March 5, 1999, at the initiative of the Thieu Nien Tien Phong Newspaper, awarded 40 scholarships, each worth 800,000 VND, to disabled students and students in difficult circumstances in Nghi Loc district. This is a meaningful act to encourage and support students to continue to strive to overcome their circumstances and excel in their studies and life.
