Closing of the 2013 Vietnam - Laos Youth Friendship Meeting
(Baonghean.vn) -After 3 days of activities of visiting, exchanging, studying and experiencing in Nghe An by the delegation of Lao People's Revolutionary Youth, on the evening of July 21, in Cua Lo Town, the closing ceremony of the 2013 Vietnam - Laos Youth Friendship Meeting took place.
Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Kham Pha Phimmasone - Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union; Phan Van Mai - Permanent Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; and youth union members and people of Cua Lo town.

During the exchange and study days in Nghe An, the delegation of Lao revolutionary youth had activities to experience the daily life of Vietnamese people in families in Cua Lo town such as eating, living, working with people, visiting fishing ports and fishing villages to understand more about Vietnamese cultural life.
Through the above activities, the delegation of Lao People's Revolutionary Youth has deeply felt the life and people here, about the affection that the Party, government, people and youth of Nghe An have given to the delegation. The outstanding youth of the Lao revolutionary people - the future owners of the country will be the ones to continue the glorious history of the steadfast and loyal friendship between the two nations, the ones holding the torch of solidarity, peace and friendship.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, comrade Le Xuan Dai affirmed: In the coming time, the leaders of Nghe An province and departments, branches and organizations will continue to pay attention to bringing the friendly relationship between the two countries to a new height, contributing to the implementation of the tasks of economic - cultural - social development, maintaining national defense and security of the two countries. Therefore, the mission of the young generation of the two countries is to join hands to preserve and further promote that precious tradition, through efforts, cooperation, practical and meaningful contributions. Nghe An youth and Lao revolutionary youth need to continue to actively carry out cooperative activities together, contributing to strengthening the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and people of Vietnam and Laos.

Before the closing ceremony, the delegation of Lao People's Revolutionary Youth had an exchange with Vietnamese and Lao students studying at universities in Vinh, and host families in Cua Lo Town. Tomorrow, before returning home, the delegation of Lao People's Revolutionary Youth will make a pilgrimage to Uncle Ho's hometown, visiting the Kim Lien relic site (Nam Dan)./.
