Closing ceremony of VNPT Nghe An Cup Table Tennis Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 days of exciting competition, on June 1, the "VNPT Nghe An Cup Table Tennis Tournament" solemnly closed at the Provincial Cultural Center Gymnasium. Nearly 100 athletes from Vinh City, districts and 5 provinces including Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh... competed in 6 events.

In the final results, the first prize in the men's doubles category went to Mr. Nguyen Van Luong - Director of Social Insurance of Hung Nguyen district, second prize: Mr. Trinh Phuong Tram - Director of Nghe An Electricity; third prize: Mr. Ho Ngoc Si ​​- Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc - Deputy Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station.

Men's singles, first prize: Nguyen Ngoc Tu - Thanh Vinh Club; second prize: Khong Minh Ha (Thanh Hoa Club), third prize: Nguyen Thanh Son (Vietnam Table Tennis Team).

Mr. Lo Trung Thanh - Deputy Director of Culture - TTDL and Mr. Ho Ngoc Si ​​- Director of Department of Agriculture presented awards to the athletes.

Team content: First prize: Thanh Vinh Club, second prize: Thanh Hoa Club, third prize: Dai Thanh Club and Nam Dan Club. The tournament was also honored to have Le Tien Dat - the second prize winner in table tennis at Sea Games 27 (2013) compete, perform and interact.

The tournament is organized to encourage and promote the movement of training and competition in table tennis, creating a useful and healthy playground for all ages. At the same time, it evaluates the quality of selection and training of table tennis athletes at the provincial, district, city levels and table tennis clubs in the province. The organizing committee has decided to consider this as an annual traditional tournament to be held to attract more people to this sport in order to promote the development of the province's sports movement.
