Beach Volleyball Tournament Closing Ceremony

(Baonghean.vn)- Practically celebrating the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2013), on the morning of May 27, at Quynh Nghia beach, Quynh Luu district Sports Center held the closing ceremony of the men's and women's beach volleyball tournament.

After more than 2 days of exciting competition (May 25 - May 27), 68 athletes who are cadres and youth union members from 28 communes and towns in the district, the athletes went through 48 matches to compete for first, second and third prizes. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded beach volleyball prizes to the men's and women's teams. In which, the first prize for men went to Quynh Doi commune, the second prize for Quynh Lam commune, the third prize for Quynh Xuan commune; the first prize for women went to Quynh Hong commune, the second prize for Quynh Thach commune and the third prize for Tan Thang commune.

This tournament is to respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of Great Uncle Ho", at the same time to encourage and motivate cadres and youth union members to enthusiastically compete in labor production to contribute to the cause of local socio-economic development and is also an opportunity for cadres and youth union members in communes and towns in the district to have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences in work and improve their physical strength.
