Closing Ceremony of the 2nd Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament 2014

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 17, after 2 days of competition,The 2nd Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament 2014 was a great success. This is an annual tournament organized byNghe An Radio and Television Station coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training and the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to organize the campaign "Support to go to school" in the 2014-2015 school year.

Attending the closing and award ceremony were comrades Ho Duc Phoc - Provincial Party Secretary, Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of sponsoring units and a large number of athletes.

After 250 matches with 340 athletes from 32 administrative agencies and 76 enterprises participating, 9 prize groups were awarded. In addition to agencies, units and enterprises in the province, this tournament also had the participation of athletes from Vietnam Television, Hanoi Beer, Ha Tinh City and Cienco 4.

Especially on this occasion, responding to the appeal letter of the Provincial People's Committee, following the results of the 1st Nghe An Television Cup Tennis Tournament, the Organizing Committee received a total of over 2,515 billion VND (including cash and construction works, tables, chairs, books, clothes) from agencies, units, and enterprises to donate to poor students in remote and border areas in the program "Support to go to school in the 2014 - 2015 school year".
