Closing Ceremony of the 2015 Unarmed Combat Competition
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 29, after 5 days of exciting competition, the 2015 Unarmed Combat Competition in the Nghe An Border Guard force held the final matches of each weight category, award ceremony and closing ceremony.
The unarmed combat competition was attended by 240 officers and soldiers representing 24 basic units in the provincial Border Guard. The athletes competed in 9 weight categories from 51kg to 80kg.

As a result, after 5 days of competition, Thanh Thuy Border Post won the first prize for the whole team, Phuc Son Border Post won the second prize and Nam Can Border Post won the third prize. The Organizing Committee also awarded the first, second and third prizes to the athletes with high achievements in the weight categories.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Tran Hai Binh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard, warmly praised the achievements of the units and individuals, and requested the commanders of the units to continue to effectively implement martial arts training, improve the physical strength of their officers and soldiers, and constantly improve the level and combat ability of each individual, meeting the requirements of combat readiness in all situations. The Chief of Staff also requested the athletes selected for the Provincial Border Guard's team to participate in the Border Guard Command's Competition to actively practice, overcome difficulties, and compete to achieve good results in the upcoming Competition.
