Closing the 17th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021

On the morning of December 13, after discussing and passing resolutions, the 17th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, closed. Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Discuss and agree through 25resolution

At the working session, delegates spent all their time discussing and passing resolutions presented at the meeting.

Including 2 Resolutions on development planeconomy- The 2021 socio-economic development plan and the Resolution on the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025 received much attention and discussion from delegates.

The discussion focused on solutions to successfully implement the targets and tasks set out in the resolution. The focus was on solutions to collect budget and develop the socio-economic region of Western Nghe An, implement programs and key economic zones...

In addition, Resolution on some support policies in constructionnew ruralIn Nghe An province, the 2021-2025 period was also discussed by the provincial People's Council delegates, proposing to expand the support content to include solidifying canals and eliminating dilapidated and makeshift houses.

Some delegates of the Provincial People's Council also discussed and commented on the content of the Resolution regulating the collection rates, collection, payment, management and use of fees for temporary use of roads and sidewalks on some routes serving pedestrian streets and night streets in Vinh city, Nghe An province and some other resolutions.

At this morning's working session, the Provincial People's Council voted to pass a total of 25 resolutions on socio-economic issues and policy mechanisms.

19 voters sent their opinions via hotline

This morning, through the online phone line, there were 19votersCalls to reflect many issues related to shortcomings and problems in state management of land, compensation, site clearance; traffic management; construction - urban order; resources - environment; implementation of some regimes and policies...

In total, during the 3 days of the meeting, 75 voters sent their opinions to the meeting via the online phone line. Of which, 22 opinions were on land and environment; 15 opinions were on construction order; and 8 opinions were on transportation._;Industry and trade have 6 opinions; regime and policy have 14 opinions; internal affairs have 4 opinions_;Internal affairs has 2 opinions and 4 opinions in other fields.

In addition to the online telephone line, the citizen reception department at the meeting received 11 citizens and received 6 complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections.

Petitions, recommendations and feedback from voters sent via the online telephone line will be compiled by the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and sent to relevant levels and sectors for resolution. The meeting chair requested relevant levels and sectors to study, resolve and respond to voters.

Decisioneffectively implement theresolution issued

Speaking at the closing session, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed: After two and a half days of working with a serious, urgent and highly responsible spirit, the 17th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021, has completed the contents and programs set out.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also emphasized: Although economic activities have gradually been restored and social security issues are being actively resolved, it is forecasted that 2021 will continue to face many difficulties and challenges.

To complete the set targets and tasks, the meeting chairman suggested that after the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee direct all levels and sectors, call on the business community and all classes of people to closely follow and grasp the situation, continue to effectively implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, uphold responsibility, strongly promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, and consensus, proactively and promptly respond to natural disasters and epidemics, overcome all difficulties, boost production and business, resolutely and synchronously implement economic recovery and development measures, strive to achieve the highest targets and plans, creating a solid foundation to enter a new stage of development.

At the same time, continue to effectively implement social security policies, care for people's lives; improve the efficiency of judicial agencies; strengthen national defense, ensure political security and social order and safety, promote the fight against corruption and waste. Do a good job of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations, and resolving voters' recommendations....
