Closing Ceremony of Nghe An Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival - Cluster 3
(Baonghean)- After two exciting days, on the evening of June 6, 2012, at the Cultural House of Do Luong town, the Nghe An Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, cluster 3, was a great success. This festival attracted 13 clubs and 263 non-professional actors from 5 districts of Do Luong, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen and Vinh city.
According to the Organizing Committee, this is a cluster round with many excellent performances, carefully invested in costumes and props, with the most participating artists and clubs for the whole family to participate such as Ngoc Son - Thanh Chuong Club; Do Luong Town Club... The clubs have built their own art programs such as Ngoc Son - Thanh Chuong Club; Nghi Lien - Vinh City; Xuan Hoa - Nam Dan... The localities closely follow the regulations, rules, and content of the festival, strictly comply with the ratio between old and new; elaborately staged with performance forms suitable for space and time. Through the festival, many child actors have appeared, with good, smooth singing voices - that is a good thing.

However, most clubs have focused on restoring the ancient performance space, but not many. The number of authors who write lyrics for folk songs is still too small, so many clubs perform the same popular works such as "Ten graces of parents", "Deep love of father and son", "Poverty singing tease". Many teams' costumes are not suitable for folk songs, and their performances are not very creative...
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize to Tan Son Club - Do Luong; 3 second prizes to Nghi Lien Club - Vinh City; Xuan Hoa - Nam Dan; Ngoc Son - Thanh Chuong; 5 third prizes to Truong Thi Club - Vinh City; Boi Son Club, Do Luong Town Club - Do Luong District; Dong Van Club - Thanh Chuong; Hung My - Hung Nguyen District.
